Smoke & Bubble is family owned and operated in the Mid-West.
My name is Kim and I will tell you a little about Smoke & Bubble.
When my idea of owning a business making products that I truly love, what we now call Smoke & Bubble, was completely different than what it is now! However, making quality products such as our all natural soy candles and handmade artisan soaps brings so much joy! Who knew at 40 some years of age that a person would try something and discover a whole new love and passion?
Moving on, you may be wondering why Smoke & Bubble produces hand poured soy candles and handmade artisan soaps. While I have always wanted to create my own candles and soaps, I have to give all the credit to my husband for this one. (Just don't tell him). My husband loves using hand crafted soaps and mentioned to me that we should make our own and while we were at it, make some candles too! Well, he didn't have to tell me twice! Personally, I think he just loves the idea of being able to shop his own store!
If you ask my husband, he will tell you that each scent, whether it be for candles or soaps, is to be approved by the "board". This "board" consists of myself, my husband, our St. Bernard Swede (who has to sniff and approve all scents), our Goldendoodle Bailey (who goes with the flow and dances with momma during breaks), and Thor...the tiny one who supervises. What motivates us to offer candles and soaps, is quality. It is an amazing feeling to be able to offer a natural, clean-burning candle and amazing to offer a great bar of soap! I love the fact that I get to play with colors for these too!
Before I leave you, the rest of the "board" would like me to tell you that they are so inspired by their parents, that they want to offer something to their fur friends as well. Coming soon will be a great cleansing shampoo bar just for your pets!
